The Gap We Fill
A part-time communications coordinator costs $35,000–$49,000 a year before benefits — and a professional website rebuild is quoted as a separate project on top of that. Most schools, nonprofits, and small businesses can't justify either, so the site goes three years without an update, the newsletter quietly stops, and the work falls on people already stretched thin. MC Media exists to close that gap.
01 — Services

Built, written, and run for you.

One partner covers the whole picture — the website itself, the email that goes out from it, the social channels around it, and the campaigns that tie them together. No agency queue, no vendors to coordinate, no role to hire.

01

Website Reconstruction

Complete rebuilds of dated, slow, or hard-to-update sites — new structure, custom design, hand-written responsive code, accessibility and speed work, SEO fundamentals, and a clean launch. Quoted per project, and you own the finished site outright.

02

Hand-Coded Email & Campaigns

Newsletters, announcements, appeals, and automated sequences built as custom-coded HTML — not drag-and-drop templates. Tested across Gmail, Outlook, and Apple Mail, tuned for deliverability, and carrying your brand exactly, on any platform you already send from.

03

Social Media Management

Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube posted on a consistent cadence built for real reach — plus daily engagement with the community around you, so the accounts grow instead of just existing.

04

Marketing Strategy & Reporting

Campaigns planned around the moments that matter to you — enrollment season, year-end giving, a product launch, a grand opening — with one consistent brand voice across every channel and a monthly report to leadership on what ran and how it performed.

05

Event & Video Production

Your events covered in person with professional equipment, then edited into the short-form video and photography that carries the rest of the month's content. Included monthly on the applicable plans.

All of it, under one roof.

Rebuild the site and keep it fed, or take just the piece you need. Either way it's one person accountable for the work — someone who writes the code and the copy both.

02 — Who We Serve

Three kinds of organizations. One standard of work.

Schools, nonprofits, and small businesses face the same problem from different angles: the website is dated, the communications are inconsistent, and nobody on staff has the hours to fix either. The craft is the same for all three — the strategy is built around what you're actually trying to move.

Schools & Parishes

Catholic and private schools

Enrollment is won long before a family calls the office. It's won on the site they find at 10pm and the feed they scroll before a tour.

  • Enrollment-season campaigns and inquiry-driven site structure
  • Parent newsletters and announcement emails that actually get read
  • School life documented weekly — liturgies, athletics, arts, service
  • A site the front office can keep current without a developer

Faith-native, so nobody has to explain why a feast day matters or how to photograph a Mass reverently.

Nonprofits

Mission-driven organizations

Donors give to organizations that look like they'll still be here in ten years. Your website and your appeals are the proof.

  • Donation-ready sites with clear giving paths and impact storytelling
  • Year-end and campaign appeal emails, hand-coded and tested
  • Grant- and board-ready reporting on reach and engagement
  • Volunteer and program recruitment content

Built by a nonprofit founder — the constraints of a small budget and a working board are familiar territory.

Small Business

Local and owner-operated

You're competing against companies with marketing departments. A serious website and a consistent presence close most of that gap.

  • Website reconstruction that converts visitors into calls and bookings
  • Local SEO fundamentals, structured data, and fast mobile performance
  • Promotional and seasonal email campaigns to your customer list
  • Social content that keeps you in front of your market every week

Direct access to the person doing the work — no account manager between you and the build.

03 — Website Reconstruction

A rebuild, not a fresh coat of paint.

Most sites don't need another plugin or a new theme. They need to be taken apart and built again properly — the structure, the copy, the code, and the speed.

Reconstruction means the site is rebuilt from its foundations. We start with what your visitors are actually trying to do — enroll, donate, book, buy — and rebuild the page structure around those paths instead of around whatever the old template allowed.

The front end is written by hand rather than assembled from a page builder. That means pages that load in under a second on a phone, markup that screen readers and search engines can parse, WCAG-level color and contrast, and structured data so your organization shows up correctly in search results.

Your existing content is migrated, not discarded — rewritten where it's dated, kept where it works. And when it launches, you own everything: the code, the domain, the hosting account, and a walkthrough so your team can make routine updates without calling anyone.

Signs it's time

  • The site looks wrong or unreadable on a phone
  • Nobody on staff can update it without help
  • Pages take several seconds to load
  • The copyright line in the footer is years out of date
  • You're paying a platform monthly for a site you don't control
  • It doesn't look like the organization you've become
  1. 1

    Audit & architecture

We review the current site, analytics, and competitors, then map the new page structure around the actions that matter to you.

  2. 2

    Design & copy

You see full page designs and finished copy before a line of production code is written — revisions happen here, where they're cheap.

  3. 3

    Hand-built development

The approved design is written as clean, responsive, accessible code, with content migrated and tested across browsers and devices.

  4. 4

    Launch & handoff

DNS, hosting, redirects, and search console handled on launch day — then a walkthrough so your team can run it confidently.

Responsive by default

Designed on mobile first, because that's where most of your visitors already are.

Accessibility

Semantic markup, keyboard navigation, and WCAG AA contrast throughout.

Performance

Optimized images, minimal scripts, and sub-second loads on real connections.

SEO foundations

Clean titles, meta, sitemaps, and structured data so search engines read you correctly.

Content migration

Existing pages carried over and refreshed — nothing important gets lost.

Analytics

Tracking configured from day one so you can see what the site is doing.

Full ownership

The code, domain, and hosting are yours. No proprietary lock-in.

Post-launch support

A support window after launch, with optional ongoing upkeep on retainer.

04 — How It Works

Turnkey. Your team barely lifts a finger.

You're already busy running your organization. MC Media is built so your total involvement is minutes a week — everything else is handled.

  1. 1

    You share raw material

Your team drops photos, clips, and announcements into one shared folder. That's the whole ask.

  2. 2

    We create & schedule

We write, edit, caption, and schedule polished content across your social channels, your website, and your email list.

  3. 3

    We engage daily

We reply, comment, and connect with the community around you every day — the part that turns a following into real reach.

  4. 4

    You get a monthly recap

A short report to your leadership: what went out, how it performed, and how your audience is growing. Full transparency.

Trusted by the people who know the work.

From school leadership to past web clients, the people who have worked with Manny say the same thing: the work gets done, and it gets done right.

Before working with Manny, our website and social media were one more thing on my plate that never got the attention they deserved. He took all of it off our hands, and within months parents were mentioning at pickup that they'd seen our students online. I never have to explain why a feast day matters or how to photograph a school Mass reverently — he already knows. That's rare, and it's why I recommend him to other principals.

Manny built us a complete demo site before we ever signed anything — that told me everything about how he works. The finished build was fast, mobile-friendly, and exactly what we asked for, and every request since has been handled within a day. You're not dealing with an agency ticket queue. You're dealing with someone who treats your mission like his own.

Past Web Design ClientHouston, TX

I've watched Manny serve the Church long before this was ever a business — teaching RCIA, leading the Archdiocesan Youth Council, sitting across from bishops with a microphone in hand. MC Media isn't a marketing venture for him. It's the same mission he's always been on, now offered with professional polish to the schools that need it most.

07 — About

One person. Both skill sets.

MC Media is run by Manrique "Manny" Campos — a builder and a communicator in the same person. That combination is the whole point: the person writing your website's code is the same person writing your emails, planning your campaigns, and shooting your events, so nothing gets lost between vendors.

The institutional side is not theoretical. Manny chairs the Archdiocesan Youth Council in Galveston-Houston, hosts The Manny Perspective — a podcast whose guests include a cardinal and multiple bishops — and founded The Faith Bank, a nonprofit that partners with Ascension Press and Rugged Rosaries. He has run a board, raised support, and reported to leadership, which is why nonprofit and school clients rarely have to explain their constraints twice.

The technical side is just as real: live websites already shipped for schools, parishes, nonprofits, and small businesses, with hosting, DNS, and migrations handled personally rather than outsourced.

Catholic schools, nonprofits, and small businesses are all served to the same standard. What every client gets is a single accountable partner who answers directly, moves quickly, and treats the work like it carries their name — because it does.

08 — The Value

What hiring costs. What you get instead.

An organization doesn't just pay a marketing salary — it pays for benefits, recruiting, training, and management, and then pays an agency separately when the website needs rebuilding. MC Media covers both for a fraction of one salary.

Hiring In-House
$35K–$49K / year
…and that's before everything else it takes.
  • Benefits, payroll taxes & retirement on top of salary
  • Recruiting, onboarding & training time
  • Ongoing management from already-busy leadership
  • One person's skill set — rarely code and video and social
  • A website rebuild still quoted separately by an agency
  • Turnover risk, and the knowledge walks out with them
A line item most small organizations simply can't justify.

FAQ

Questions we get asked first.

Do you only work with Catholic organizations?

No. MC Media works with Catholic schools and parishes, nonprofits of every kind, and small businesses — all to the same standard. The Catholic and nonprofit background means real fluency in mission-driven institutional work, which many clients value. But the craft underneath — websites, email, social, campaigns — is the same regardless of who you serve.

What exactly does a website reconstruction include?

A full rebuild, not a reskin: an audit of your current site, a new page structure built around what visitors are actually trying to do, custom design and copy, hand-written responsive front-end code, accessibility and performance work, SEO fundamentals and structured data, migration of your existing content, and launch with DNS, hosting, and redirects handled. You own the finished site outright — code, domain, and hosting account — plus a walkthrough so your team can make routine updates without calling anyone.

How much does this cost?

Two different things, priced two different ways. Website reconstructions are quoted per project, based on page count and complexity. Ongoing marketing and communications run on a monthly retainer with a few plan levels, priced to the size of your organization. Both are quoted after a short call, and most clients are surprised how far below the cost of a hire the retainer lands.

Why hand-code emails instead of using a drag-and-drop builder?

Because builders produce bloated markup that breaks in Outlook, gets clipped partway through in Gmail, and stacks awkwardly on phones — which is where most of your list is reading. Hand-coded, table-based HTML email is tested across the major clients before it sends, loads faster, is far less likely to trip spam filters, and carries your exact brand rather than a template's approximation of it. It works with whatever platform you already send from — Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Flocknote, Brevo, or another.

Why not just hire someone in-house?

You can — for $35,000–$49,000 a year, plus benefits, recruiting, training, and management. And that hire still rarely covers everything: the person who writes good social copy usually can't rebuild a website, so the site gets quoted separately by an agency on top of the salary. MC Media covers both sides for a fraction of a single salary, with no hiring risk, no one to manage, and no knowledge walking out the door at turnover.

We already have a website platform. Does that work?

Yes. MC Media maintains and updates existing platforms — eCatholic, WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, and others. Nothing has to move or migrate unless a full reconstruction is genuinely what you want, and part of the first call is being honest about which of the two you actually need.

What do you need from us?

Very little. Your team shares raw photos, video, and announcements through one shared folder — MC Media handles the writing, editing, scheduling, posting, engagement, and website upkeep from there. Total time investment on your side is minutes per week.

How does event coverage work?

On the plans that include it, one event per month is covered: MC Media attends in person, films with professional equipment for up to an hour, then edits and publishes the content — which also becomes the raw material for the rest of the month's posts. Additional coverage is available at a simple hourly rate.

How do we measure whether it's working?

Every month your leadership receives a short recap: what was published, how it performed, and how your audience is growing — in plain language, ready to forward to a board or a principal. Website work is measured too, with analytics configured at launch so you can see traffic, sources, and the actions people take.
